CSIR-CIMAP invites applications from Indian citizens in the prescribed application format for the post(s) of Sr. Technical Officer (2), Technical Assistant & Assistant (F&A) Gr.   • Pay Scale:- Rs. 9300 – 34800/- Per Month Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- Per Month
  • Qualification:- M.Sc.(Agronomy) with minimum 55% marks and 5 years experience in Agronomic research and transfer of Agro technology.

  • Age Limit:- 28 years as on 9th January 2017
  • Pay Scale:- Rs. 9300 – 34800/- Per Month Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- Per Month
  • Qualification:- Candidates should possess Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical/ Agricultural Engineering or Civil or B.Sc with relevant discipline.

Name of Post:- Assistant (F&A) Grade III

  • Age Limit:- 28 years as on 9th January 2017
  • Pay Scale:- Rs. 5200 – 20200/- Per Month Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- Per Month
  • Qualification:- Candidates should possess 12th / 10th or its equivalent with Commerce with adequate experience.

Selection Process:- Selection will be based on Written Test / Trade Test/ Skill Test / Qualifying Typing Test and Interview.

Age relaxation:- The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.

Candidates belonging to ST communities: 05 Years

Candidates belonging to SC communities: 05 Years

Candidates belonging to OBC communities: 03 Years

How to apply online for CIMAP Exam:- Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply online through the website from 5th December 2016 to 3rd January 2017 and submit the online application on or before 9th January 2017 & Send the hard copy of the application along with self-attested copies of the requisite certificates/ mark sheets of date of birth, educational qualification, experiences and community certificate & in an envelope should be Superscribed as ‘Application for the post of_________ (Post code________ Advt. No. _________) by speed post/ registered post to the ‘Administrative Officer, CSIR- Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Post Office – CIMAP, Lucknow – 226015, on or before 20th January 2017.

General instructions:-

  1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  2. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as on the last date of submission of online applications i.e. 9th January, 2017. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for various posts as on the last date of receipt of the application. No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview/trade test/skill test/written test. The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates. The candidate should therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications and experiences in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification, supported with documents.
  3. The hard copy (print-out) of the application generated after filling online application form should be accompanied by self-attested copies of the relevant educational qualification, experience. The prescribed qualifications should have been obtained through recognized Universities/Institutions etc. Incomplete applications or applications not accompanied with the required certificates/documents are liable to be rejected.
  4. In respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of advertisement, then the candidate is required to produce order/letter in this regard, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated otherwise the application is liable to be rejected.
  5. The period of experience rendered by a candidate on part time basis, daily wages, visiting/ guest faculty will not be counted while calculating the valid experience for short listing the candidates for interview/trade test/skill test/written test (as applicable).
  6. If any document/certificate furnished is in a language other than Hindi or English, a transcript of the same duly attested by a Gazetted Officer or notary is to be submitted.
  7. The date for determining the upper age limit, qualifications and/or experience shall be the closing date prescribed for submission of online applications i.e. 9th January, 2017.
  8. The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications prescribed for that post.
  9. Persons with disabilities (PWD) fulfilling the eligibility conditions prescribed under GOI instructions are encouraged to apply.
  10. Any discrepancy found between the information given in application and as evident in original documents will make the candidate ineligible for appearing in interview/trade test/skill test/written test.
  11. The decision of the CIMAP/CSIR in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, conduct of examination/interview/Trade test/Skill test/written/typing test will be final and binding on the candidates.
  12. The selected persons should be ready to serve at any of the offices/Research Centres of CSIR-CIMAP located at Lucknow, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pant agar, Purara (Distt. Bageshwar) or at any place of posting in India as per need of CSIR-CIMAP R&D activities.
  13. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
  14. Certificates/documents in support of experience must specify duration of experience in terms of date/month/year.
  15. The number of vacancies indicated against each category/post is provisional and may vary at the time of selection.
