IIT Kanpur Research Associate Notification Info
Research Associate – II Project Post-Doctoral Fellow: 2 Posts
- Qualification: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree, in the fields of Earth Sciences (with a preference for specializations in Structural Geology, Igneous-Metamorphic Petrology, Rock Mechanics, or Solid Earth Geophysics) or Material Sciences (with a preference for specializations in Rheology, Microstructure, Texture Analysis, etc.). (ii) Demonstrated work experience in experimental laboratories is essential. (iii) The candidate’s research focus should align with the areas of mechanics of materials, rheology, quantitative microstructure, and texture analysis, as substantiated by peer-reviewed publications. (iv) Proficiency in operating equipment such as SEM, TEM, FTIR, EPMA, etc., is desirable. (v) Strong written and spoken English skills are advantageous.
- Salary Details: Rs. 61000 per month
