Kashmir University has published notification for the post of 88 Professor & Associate Professor vacancies in various department/ Centers/ Campuses. Apply online before 10th February 2017.

  • Pay Scale:- Rs. 37400 – 67000/- Per Month Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- Per Month
  • Qualification:- An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualifications(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers with relevant experience & other qualification details refer the notification.

  • Age Limit:- As per KU rules
  • Pay Scale:- Rs. 37400 – 67000/- Per Month Grade Pay Rs. 9000/- Per Month
  • Qualification:- Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines and A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with relevant experience & other qualification details refer the notification.

Selection Process:- Candidates will be selected based on Interview.

For all Categories candidates: 1050/-

Application fee through online mode or against the bank pay-in-slip generated with the application form in any of the branches of the J&K Bank, across the country.

How to apply online for Kashmir University Exam:- Interested and Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in from 5th January 2017 to 10th February 2017 & Send hard copy of the online application along with the enclosures, duty numbered at right hand top margin, as per the auto generated serial number against each entry, Bank Pay-in-slip/ Online Payment Acknowledgement and one copy of latest curriculum Vitae, duty binded in an envelope should be super scribed with ‘Application for the Post of_______, Post ID _________ Advt Notice No ____________ Dated ____________’ either personally or through registered/ Speed Post to the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Recruitment), Ground Floor, Administrative Block, University Campus, Hazratbal, Srinagar – 190006, J&K on or before 15th February 2017.

General instructions:-

  1. Candidates are advised to regularly login to his/her profile using username and password for latest updates/important instructions, released by the University from time to time.
  2. The interview call letters shall be sent under Speed/ Registered post. Candidates shall also be informed through E-mail/SMS registered at the time of Registration. However, the University shall not be responsible for any postal delay, whatsoever or non-delivery of E-mail/SMS due to technical or any other issues.
  3. All enclosures attached with the Application Form should be self-attested and attached in the same order as of the Serial Number generated against each entry. Incomplete Application Forms and without enclosures shall be rejected.
  4. The University shall verify the antecedents of all documents of the candidates submitted at any time of appointment or during the tenure of service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedents/background and has suppressed the said information, his/her services shall be terminated forthwith and the action shall be taken as warranted under rules.
  5. Addendum/corrigendum and instructions, to this advertisement shall be uploaded on the university website only.
