MERC Chairperson, Independent Member Notification Info

Chairperson: 47 Posts

• Qualification: The Chairperson of the Forum shall be a retired senior judicial officer; or a retired civil servant not below the rank of an Additional Collector or equivalent; or a retired Principal of a reputed Engineering college; or a retired Professor of the Electrical Engineering Department of a reputed institute; or a retired senior electrical engineer of the Government.
• Salary Details: Rs. 40,000 – 50,000/-Per Month
• Age Limit: 65 years

Independent Member: 37 Posts

• Qualification: Independent Member shall have experience of working for at least ten (10) years on matters concerning consumer Grievances. Candidate shall be well conversant with Marathi language.
• Salary Details: Rs. 35,000 – 40,000/-Per Month
• Age Limit: 65 years

Selection Process: Selection will be based on the Interview
